Founded in 2014, The MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program supports individuals in achieving the 4 Components of Long-Term Sustainable Recovery, as defined by SAMSHA, Health, Home Purpose, and Community. The MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program assists clients in identifying their Critical Relapse Warning Signs and teaches them the tools necessary to navigate life stressors in sobriety. Our approach includes multiple therapeutic resources; including evidenced based treatment, peer to peer recovery support, in conjunction with structured and accountable independent community sober living. This model provides our clients with the real lasting changes needed to obtain and maintain long-term sobriety.
Substance Use Treatment
The MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program provides all levels of outpatient substance use treatment: Partial Hospitalization Programming (PHP), Intensive Outpatient Programming (IOP), and specific track Outpatient Programming (OP). The MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program utilizes a holistic approach to treatment and our team of licensed, certified, and trained staff utilizes evidenced based practices and recovery orientated modalities to better support our clients.
Recovery Support
The MVP Recovery Behavioral Health Program offers a comprehensive peer to peer recovery support program for our clients. Our team of Certified Recovery Specialists supports whole-person recovery and helps our clients in achieving the 4 Components of Recovery: Health, Home, Purpose, and Community. Our CRS acts as a Recovery Coach/Mentor/Support to help guide clients on their path to Recovery.

Does this program accept both men & women?
Yes, MVP has a male program and a female program that are housed at different locations.
Do you accept residents on MAT?
Yes, MVP Recovery has a MSR (Medicated Supported Recovery) Program that support our residents on MAT.
How long is this program?
MVP is a 3 Phase Recovery Program and successful completion is 9-12 months.
Is this is a Licensed Recovery Home?
Yes, The MVP Recovery Sober Living Program is Licensed by the Department of Drug & Alcohol Programming. MVP Recovery is one of the first and largest Sober Living Programs Licensed in the State of Pennsylvania. As a DDAP Licensed Recovery House Program MVP Recovery is recognized and certified as a higher quality Sober Living Program than non-licensed Recovery Home Providers. In addition, as a DDAP Licensed Provider MVP Recovery can provide Sober Living funding for residents that qualify.
Do you provide financial assistance or offer funding to residents?
Yes, as a DDAP Licensed Provider MVP Recovery can provide funding to our Sober Living residents.
Each candidate must meet the necessary requirements for this financial hardship funding and will be assessed on a case by case basis.
Do you conduct drug tests?
Yes, MVP is pro-active in our drug testing policy. Every resident receives a minimum of 2-3 urinalysis drug tests a week.
Do you have professional staff?
Yes, We have Licensed and Certified Professional staff to help maintain the integrity of the program and better support our residents.
Can I go to outside counseling?
Yes, It is required that all residents participate in outside professional counseling.
Can I go to outside meetings?
Yes, it is required that all residents attend regular 12 Step meetings outside of MVP.
Can I work or attend school in your program?
Yes, getting back to work and becoming independent is a major part of our program. MVP has an employment program that assists our residents with job placement and educational resources.
Do you offer family programs?
Yes, MVP has a parenting program that assists our residents in learning the skills necessary to navigate the additional stressors associated with being a parent in recovery. This program allows the loved ones of our residents to also participate.
Do you offer any wellness/nutrition programs?
MVP Promotes wellness, nutrition, and regular exercise in recovery and works with programs in the county that support the MVP mission and provide opportunities for health and wellness activities.
