Brian is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker earning his Master of Social Work Degree from Widener University and is certified in both Trauma Counseling and Relapse Prevention. Brian has over a decade of experience working in the substance use treatment field holding roles from Substance Abuse Counselor to Clinical Director. Brian has been featured on NBC10, Action News, Fox, the BBC, and other news outlets sharing his expertise on substance use, treatment, and recovery. Brian is a recipient of the “Delaware County Prevention Award” for his commitment to substance use prevention and recovery throughout the community. Brian received the distinguished honor of being named a “Health Care Hero” by Main Line Today magazine for the role he has played in assisting others on their path to recovery from substance use. Brian is an Adjunct Professor at Widener University where he teaches a Graduate Level Social Work Course on Substance Use and is the first citizen member of the Delaware County Jail Oversight Board where he is the chair of the treatment expansion committee. Brian is also a person in long term recovery and a life long Delaware County resident.
